Nal Zlëm Kez covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 3216 m (10551 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Nal Zlëm Kez was founded durring the late 17th century in early fall of the year 1575, by Bhiodnyrn Ningi. The establishment of Nal Zlëm Kez was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Bhiodnyrn Ningi struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Nal Zlëm Kez as a prison colony.
Nal Zlëm Kez was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the late 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Nal Zlëm Kez is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature masoned stone construction which prominantly features pointed arches, pointed ribbed vault cielings, flying buttress', and window tracery all of which share a simmilar gemoetetic patern halfway between organic and inorganic in design formaing a very distinct aesthetically integrated style. BUildings tend to reach for the havens, and more expencive homes are easily identified by their floor count as well as the addition of decorative features intigrated into the building's design such as statues, gargoyals, and embelished joinery.
Nal Zlëm Kez is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive cobblestone streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the town is well defended against anything short of an army. Astonishigly, the brittle defences are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.
Nal Zlëm Kez has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Nal Zlëm Kez ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Nal Zlëm Kez is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Nal Zlëm Kez was like during the glorydays.
Civic Infrastructure
Nal Zlëm Kez has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Nal Zlëm Kez.

Nal Zlëm Kez possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Nal Zlëm Kez's grid is powered by an arcane means.
Nal Zlëm Kez has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.
Nal Zlëm Kez has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Cultural Notes
Religious leaders are influential in almost any community, but in Nal Zlëm Kez they make up the final authorities. It may be an explicit theocracy, with rule by the clerics of a particular faith, or a temple might be so important and powerful that the official leaders are helpless to resist its will. The locals can be expected to be loyal adherents to the faith, or else the less pious majority is deeply intimidated by the religion’s believers.
Nal Zlëm Kez's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.

Nal Zlëm Kez's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves reenactments to channel Enchantment energies of tier 3 via throat singing.
